
Quickstart Guide for Heyrex™2
Congratulations on getting a Heyrex™2 device to track your dogs health and fitness. We are confident you will love being able to monitor your dogs wellbeing in the Heyrex app.
Plus you will earn great rewards with our Wag – o’s points programme by simply checking on your pet’s activity.
- 1. Scan the QR code on the back of your Heyrex and follow the steps to set up and account, add your dogs info and start your data plan. Both must be completed for your Heyrex to work.
- To ‘wake up’ your Heyrex2 you need to charge it using the cable inside the box.
- Your Heyrex will glow purple when charging and blue when fully charged.
- Go to the app and change the location mode to rapid and put the sensor outside where it can 'see' sky all around for 10 minutes so it can download the satellite maps to improve accuracy.
- Using the collar attachment inside the box, place the Heyrex on your dogs collar under their chin.
Note that there are several settings in the Find / location part of the APP. To change the mode it is in and use less battery power click on Find on the map and select the mode you want. If you are wanting faster, more accurate location updates, put the biosensor on the top of your dogs neck so it can see the sky better.
Getting started is easy - just scan the QR code on the back of your Heyrex™2 device. From here you will be taken though a simple step by step process to set up your dogs personalised Heyrex account and data plan. This should take you about 10 minutes.
Once set up your Heyrex is good to go! Make sure you download the Heyrex App (Link at the bottom of this page) to have all your doggie data at your fingertips. You can check out your dogs daily wellbeing score, their running and walking activity levels, sleep patterns and more and earn Wag-o rewards while you’re at it.
Carers - you can add Carers for your dog so they can see the APP - great for family members and if you are leaving your dog with someone for a while.
Veterinarians - add your vet, they can view your dogs data too and that's really useful when your dog's had an operation or is undergoing weight mgmt. Send us their details and we'll make sure they get access to our Vet Portal.
If you are unsure if your biosensor is working properly, there is a Device Checkup Tool in the menu.
