You’ll never guess in a million years what I’ve been up to.

Hi Uncle Bud,

It’s me, Harriett

So. You’ll never guess in a million years what I’ve been up to. It’s been really busy around here. We’ve had family over from London, that’s been so nice. And the reason they were over is because we had a family wedding. This is the 2nd time that me and Hugo have had something to do with a wedding. But this time we got to actually go to the wedding, because it was our Grandma and Poppy getting married. Too exciting.

And you know what else happened? Grandma wanted me to wear an outfit, so I helped Mum pick out some fabric from her sewing room and she made me a dress. And she made Hugo a tie. Yep, a real tie like what Dad wears to the office. Can you believe that I would be so lucky? I’ve had jumpers for winter when it’s cold, but I’ve never had a dress before. I thought I’d die with excitement when Mum was making my dress. I even sat on her knee when she was sewing it. She said it made things a bit more difficult to sew but I wanted to see everything that was going on.

My first dress. It was amazing. And Mum took us to Jane’s place for a quick spruce up so we smelt all nice and clean and Jane put ribbons in my ears. You know what Uncle Bud, I felt like a real princess. And Hugo looked real handsome.

When we got to Grandma and Poppy’s place all my cousins and Aunties and Uncles were there. It was just like Christmas but everyone was really dressed up.

And you know what? We were so busy running around making sure everyone was having fun and looking at my dress, that Heyrex sent Mum an email the next day to say how much extra activity we had done. Heyrex is really good like that, letting Mum know when things are different. That’s why she says it’s so important that we keep our Heyrex Activity Sensors on our monitors all the time.

I’ve attached two photos for you today, one of me in my dress and one of me and Hugo. We look so good I just had to show you.

Anyway, I’ve got to go now. Mum needs my help cleaning up her sewing room after all that sewing last week. Cleaning up the sewing room is my favourite thing.
